I just wanna quickly mention this, hopefully you’ll see this in time before the deal ends. Amazon’s ‘Free App of the Day’ program has returned once again, which began on September 25th, and ends today, September 27th, 2014. The folks representing Amazon only notified us of this yesterday, however, if this is following the timezone in the US, we probably have another 12 hours before this deal ends.
This Amazon Free App of the Day program is giving away 27 paid apps and games — worth over US$135 (~RM440.03), for free. These are Android apps, in case you’re wondering, and Amazon has its own ‘Appstore’ designed for its Kindle and Fire devices, but the APKs can be sideloaded on your standard ‘Google’ Android devices.
There are quite a number of excellent apps and games here, including Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, Swype Keyboard, OfficeSuite Professional 7, SketchBook Pro, Riptide GP2, and Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode II. Here’s the full list:

You must be thinking that Amazon’s apps aren’t available for download it Malaysia. It was true before; I wasn’t able to download any apps from the Appstore while reviewing the Fire TV a few months ago. However, since BlackBerry 10.3 comes with Amazon Appstore, and BlackBerry 10 devices are being sold worldwide including Malaysia, Amazon had to open up its regional restrictions.
It works a bit like Google Play Store; just head on to this link to see all the promotional apps mentioned. Click to ‘purchase’ it and you can sign in with your Malaysian Amazon account. Over at your Android device, you can either install the Amazon Appstore app here, or access the Apps section from the the main Amazon app.
